Newfane Central School District welcomes new School Resource Officer

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office would like to congratulate Deputy Brittany Price for being selected as the Newfane School Resource Officer. Deputy Price will be assigned to the Newfane Central School District for the 2026-2027 school year, as we congratulate Deputy Needle on his upcoming retirement and thank him for many years of service as the Newfane SRO! 
 
Deputy Price started with NCSO in November 2024, after working as a Police Officer with the Youngstown Police Department. Deputy Price has worked on every shift since she started with NCSO, and was most recently assigned to our patrol's midnight shift. She is a lifelong resident of Niagara County, is a Niagara Wheatfield High School graduate and has two cats. Her previous experience as a youth soccer coach and figure skating coach demonstrate the positive impact she can have with students! 
 
Although she has many hobbies, Deputy Price enjoys gardening, cooking, reading and traveling the most. A fun fact about Deputy Price is that she has vacationed in Japan and has been on 6 cruises! She hopes to incorporate her love for books into her role as the SRO - stay tuned! 
 
Deputy Price is extremely excited to start with Newfane CSD. She is eager to meet the students and staff, and hopes to make everyone's day brighter and safer!
