    The mission of the Newfane High School library media center is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
    This mission is accomplished:

     - by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats


    - by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas


    - by working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.      

    Students:


    - The library is the one place where you are not expected to have the answers! We are here to teach you how to find them.


    - You may think you are wired but unless you are connected to your school library you don't know what you are missing!

    - Everything you want to know about practically everything is at your school library.

      

    Library Staff

    Mrs. Ray is the Library Media Specialist and has been in the district since 1999. She worked in the Middle School for six years and transferred to the High School in the 05-06 school year.
